Join us for a charity yard sale

Come and grab a bargain at Communicare’s fundraising yard sale here this month (September 2024).

The charity is hosting the event on Saturday, September 21, 10am-12noon, in our back yard with all monies raised going towards helping vulnerable and isolated people in our neighbourhood and the city’s wider community.  

Communicare Manager, Annie explains: “It’s brilliant to be hosting our first ever yard sale at CommuniBakes, which is our charity’s commercial venture. 

“We hope lots of people drop in and find some bargains, perhaps even starting their Christmas shopping, while also helping fundraise for us too.”

Those that attend will also be able to pick up a sweet or savoury treat, or two, from us and enjoy tea and coffee, and we’ll have our tables outside on the pavement too, subject to the weather and availability.

We support Communicare’s work, all our profits are donated to the charity, so you can enjoy a pastry or cake from us, or buy a loaf to enjoy at home, and know you’re helping people living nearby at the same time.
